..er well.. my house was actually.
so, on devils night... one of the older men that lives upstairs in my house.. set it on fire.. he was arrested for arson...

.. .. so kind of out of a house now. can't go check on damages or anytrhing, since it is under police investigation...
.. anyways, guess i will be looking for a new place.
.... and trying to replace all my supplies that are er.. unaccessible or er. dead.

.. worst part is the irreplaceable things.. like all my sketchbooks.. drawings...and school projects..

but yeah, everyone is ok, so i guess that is a good thing.

Oh my goodness, that's horrible! I can't believe that someone who actually lives there would set it on fire, that's so stupid!!!!

I really hope all your things are ok, do you know how bad the fire was?

I live in residence, and whenever someone leaves food burning in the kitchen or does something else stupid I worry that we'll lose the whole building. I can't believe it actually happened to you . . . . I feel so bad for you!

yeah it was a pretty dumb move on his part.
.. well the fire was pretty much on the main floor. i live on the basement, so what i will have is water damage. however we cant get anything out of the house (or go in) until the police finish investigating. so i have a little while more of not knowing....

but yeah.

I hope all is well for you. I just can't fathom what it would take to replace things that you can't just go to the store and buy again! I'm hoping that your things managed to survive intact!!!!

yup.well found out morethis weekend. things arent too bad at all. mostly everything survived, except for some of my work for school... adn one of my sketchbooks is kind of er..wet.

but yes. life is good....

That's a relief . . . hopefully your professors will understand that you had no control over what happened, and give you a break on your work.

I know my printmaking TA last year gave me a break when my project was stolen. I hope all works out.

yeah. people are pretty understanding. :heart:

..cant even imagine having a project STOLEN. that would really bite...
